Yesterday was World Cancer Day, an annual event to unite the world in the fight against cancer. World Cancer Day aims to save millions of preventable deaths each year through education, raising awareness and by pressing governments and individuals across the world to take action to reduce cancer risk.
Over 40,000 people are diagnosed with cancer each year in Ireland, and the numbers show that by next year, 1 in 2 of us will get a cancer diagnosis at some point in our lifetime.
Check out our Quiz night taking place Friday week (15th February) with proceeds going to Irish Cancer Society.
