We are committed to doing our best for the health and safety of the community during this difficult time. Please note that we have made the following changes/ additions at our Hong Kong espresso bars.
1. Temperature Checking
For your health and safety, we are conducting temperature checks on all guests and team members that enter our espresso bars.
2. Cashless Transactions Only
To minimise person-to-person contact, we have moved to cashless transactions. Please note that we only accept card and mobile payments.
3. Single Serve Compostable Coffee Cups and Food Trays Only
To prevent cross-contamination, we are no longer serving our ceramic cups, plates or stainless steel cutlery nor are we accepting reusable cups.
4. Sanitation
a) Sanitiser is available on our bars for your convenience.
b) Baristas are wearing gloves when cleaning tables.
c) To maintain good hygiene, our tables are sanitised after every sitting.
(N.B. Disinfectant alcohol may strip the coloured polish from our wooden tables. It is possible you may see wood stain on an alcohol pad used to wipe a table.)
5. Employee Personal Hygiene System and Training
To mitigate the risk of infection, our baristas are all wearing masks, washing their hands every 30 minutes and also washing their hands when they switch from one task to another.
6. Reduced Seating
To help with social distancing, we have limited the number of seats and expanded the space between tables.
7. No Newspapers or Music Listening Posts
To avoid any possible indirect contact, we are no longer offering the music listening posts and the Financial Times.
Let’s work together to minimise the risk of Covid-19 spreading in the community.
1. To protect the community and prevent the spread of infection to others, please wear a mask whilst queuing, ordering and waiting for takeaway. Please be reminded to put on your mask after finishing your dine in coffee.
2. To maintain a good social distance, please keep 1.5 metres apart when queuing.
3. According to the Department of Health, please stay home or in a quarantine centre for 14 days if you have travelled abroad in the past 14 days.
4. To reduce the risk of catching or spreading disease, please self-quarantine and seek medical advice promptly if you experience any influenza-like symptoms.
We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused and appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
Meanwhile, our thoughts are with our New Zealand and Shanghai communities fighting the Covid-19 battle.
Keep the faith.
