Καλημέρα! Ευχαριστώ όλους εσάς που υπήρξατε φίλοι των κρασιών μας κι ακόμη όλους εσάς που επισκέπτεστε ακόμη αυτήν την σελίδα και σας αρέσει. Η τελευταία φορά που είχα γράψει κάτι εδώ, ήταν τήν Πρωτοχρονιά του 2012. Κι αυτό γιατί η οινοποιητική μας επιχείρηση έχει πάψει να λειτουργεί από τότε.
Τα ενδιαφέροντα μας μετακινήθηκαν από το κρασί στο Life Coaching, αλλά δεν γράφω τώρα γι' αυτό. Χτές έλαβα το παρακάτω μήνυμα στ' αγγλικά, από έναν Γερμανό τουρίστα που είχε επισκεφτεί το οινοποιείο μας πριν από χρόνια και ομολογώ ότι με συγκίνησε. Αλλά ας αφήσω τον ίδιο τον Jobst Wendt να μας τα πεί:
Dear Martine and Yiannikostas.
Almost 14 years ago we spent a kind of pre-honeymoon on the Island of Kephallenia, and we never forgot a visit to your estate where we tasted and bought your excellent Robola wine. For us it is by far the best dry white wine which we ever tasted, not only from Greece but also worldwide. Certainly you will not remember our visit, but we do.
Now we are again on the Jonian Islands, this time on the island of Korfu. We came with our own car from Tübingen via Trieste, then by ferryboat to Igoumenitsa and finally to Korfu. We had the secret wish, to find your unique wine in some shop in Korfu town, but our research was in vain so far. But we still hope to find it somewhere on the island. Is there a shop or a dealer who sells your wine? Or could you send us, let's say 24 bottles, to our address here? It would make our stay in Greece still more unforgettable. There is an estate close to us, who produces a kind of Robola, but has only the same name as yours. As a wine it is not at all comparable to Metaxas.
We hope that you both enjoy the best of health (as we do, in spite of our advanced age: Konstanze 71, me almost 83)

here we rented a house near the village of Liapades, on the west coast, close to Palaeokastritsa. We will be here until May 30.
