27TH SEPTEMBER,2022.

Yesterday, together with the Honorable Member of Parliament Kofi Amankwa-Manu had a fruitful engagement with all Road Contractors in the District to discuss primarily, How we can get them back to site and Accelerate the rate of Work on the Various Road Networks contracted to them.
As political Leadership in the District, We always strife to get Quality standard of living for our people.

The Contractors poured out their challenges which seems to have caused the delays in the road contracts but also assured us of their unflinching commitment to get back to site and get the job done soon.

The meeting was followed by the distribution of 200 Kindergarten, Mono and Dual Desks by the MP and 1,500 by the District Assembly to some Assembly Members on a request from the schools in the their respective electoral areas

In attendance were Mrs.Eunice Korankye( Coordinating Director),Assembly Members,Constituency Executives and the media .

Today, I was joined by representatives of "The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints" to officially commission and handover three (3) projects in my Constituency. They include;
• a renovated 3-unit classroom block at Darko R/C Primary. This building has been abandoned for years due to the poor state it was. All three (3) classroom were fixed with digital television sets to aid in electronic illustrations and other learning activities.

• a 16-seater toilet facility each for Ampabame No.1 and Gyekye communities.

Owing to a needs assessment exercise I conducted immediately I assumed office as MP, issues of lack toilet facilities for our communities and educational institutions were the second most requested needs from my constituents.

Furthermore, we did sod-cutting exercise for another two (2) projects; a toilet plus water facility for Adumasa community and another 16-seater toilet facility for Mmrewadwa Takyiman. All these projects are fully sponsored by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

When I begun office as MP in January 2021, I brokered a partnership between my office and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and I am very excited that, the partnership has started yielding positive results. The sweetest part of the deal is that, the Church has promised more and massive projects in the coming months after they sent their representatives to visit my constituency to carry out a need assessment for themselves. I am very grateful to the church for helping build a prosperous Atwima Kwanwoma Constituency!

Grief is too heavy to carry alone, so your presence helped relieve our family of the load. The care and concern you showed are reminders that there are still good people in the world that we can take comfort from.

On behalf of the entire family and myself and in no particular order, I send our heartfelt appreciation to H.E Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo (President of Ghana) and his Vice, H.E Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, Hon. Akosua Frema Osei-Opare (Chief of Staff, Jubilee House), Rt. Hon. Alban S.K. Bagbin (Speaker of Parliament) and colleague Members of Parliament, Presidential Staffers, all government appointees and representatives, Nananom, Religious bodies and leaders, the Security Services, National, Regional, Constituency, Electoral Area and Polling Station Officers of NPP, the various wings and youth groups of the NPP, beloved constituents of Atwima Kwanwoma, the media, other political groupings and all those who came in to support and ensure that, we had the chance to say a meaningful goodbye, full of happy memories to my late father, Mr Kwasi Amankwa-Manu, last weekend at Foase.

You made such a difference during our mournful period. God bless you for all your time and resources.

AKC MP MEETS WITH HEADS OF DEPARTMENTS IN HIS DISTRICT

This afternoon, I met with all Heads of Departments and Units under the Atwima Kwanwoma District Assembly. The meeting afforded me the opportunity to acquaint myself with the various Departments and Units, their respective mandates and also ensure effective collaboration with them in our common developmental pursuits within the District and Constituency.

I urged them to be very committed to the development of the district and pledged my unflinching support so we can collectively position our district to a befitting status, and one that responds to the needs of the people. I thank the District Chief Executive, Hon. Nana Okyere-Tawiah Antwi, the District Coordinating Director and all Heads of Departments for honouring my invitation to the meeting. Let's build Atwima Kwanwoma together!
