Our next journey takes us to Kartli - we will meet our dear friends and favorite winemakers of the region.

First is Samtavisi Marani, winemaker Mamuka Kikvadze produces expressive, small-batch natural wines that beautifully reflect the character of Kartli. We will explore the winery, learn its story and taste wines.

Then, the renowned natural wine hub founded by Andro Barnovi. Here we’ll gather around the table for a full dinner paired with a curated wine tasting, sharing stories, exceptional wines and an unforgettable evening together.

On July 4th we’re heading out on another wine adventure and we’d love for you to join us!

This time we’re traveling to Bolnisi — a former German settlement in Georgia with a unique winemaking heritage.

Our first stop will be Dzmebis Marani where we’ll visit the winemaker in his historic German house. He will share the fascinating story of how German winemaking traditions influenced Bolnisi and explain the differences between traditional Georgian and Bolnisian winemaking methods. We’ll also enjoy a wine tour and tasting with the winemaker.

Our second destination is Disveli Estate, where winemaker Berdia Berishvili will personally guide us through his winery. We’ll taste young wines aged in both qvevri and oak barrels, discovering the character of each method.

After the tastings we’ll gather around a traditional Georgian feast with plenty of wine and delicious Georgian dinner with barbecue.

We’ve said it before, and we’ll say it again — we’re lucky to call the winemakers we visit our friends.

Today, we want you to meet Berdia Berishvili — a winemaker from central Georgia and the founder of Barbale and Disveli Estate wineries.

Berdia has gathered grape varieties from different regions of Georgia at his winery, creating wines that truly showcase the country’s incredible diversity.

His wines are elegant, refined, and full of character. What’s more - tasting them with the winemaker and feeling all the intricate details is an unforgettable experience.

At Bakhurtsiteli, we invite you to a vibrant Greek-Kakhetian feast with music, dancing, and a fusion menu inspired by both cultures 🇬🇪🇬🇷

Bakhurtsiteli, Ivane and Lizi, are known for their expressive natural wines, delicious cuisine and charismatic personalities.
