Hi everyone, don't forget we are skipping a month at The Old Barn quiz due to the World Cup BUT we have a solution! There will be all the usual shenanigans this Saturday 20th June at Evershot Village Hall, just 9 miles up the A37 Dorchester Road from Yeovil. Same start time, 7-30pm. See ya there 😉

Wow, what an amazing night last night was. Possibly my best quiz ever! Atmosphere was great, such a laugh and WHAT a finish! 2.5 points separated the top 6 teams with only 8 points separating the top.12 😳 The Groovy Gang pipped the Arctic Barking Spiders and Plastered Again by 1 point, with the latter teams both tieing on 81 points which meant a tie break for 2nd prize.....which was tied 😆 (they both guessed the same year!) Plastered Again, last months winners, prevailed on the 2nd tie breaker which completed a monumental night for them as they had risen from 13th place to joint second by getting double points on the Wipeout round. Anyway....next month there is no 'Old Barn' Quiz due to the World Cup so we have arranged a quiz at Evershot Village Hall on Saturday June 20th, same start time, 7-30pm. The next 'Old Barn' quiz will be Sunday 26th July. Once again, thank you all SO much the the fantastic support, the numbers you keep turning up in is phenomenal ❤️ Tony x

Thanks to all who attended the Old Barn Quiz last night, just keeps going from strength to strength 💪. Congratulations to 'Plastered Again' for, after a few close challenges, FINALLY getting over the line for a well overdue victory. Plus the small matter of 60 quid! Runners up were 'Robbaks' with 'Better late than Never' claiming 3rd prize. 'Here for the Beer' took home the enormous bar of choc 😋 The video clip above is from the Music Round, the only time where I can get off stage and grab a pint 😀 See you next month on Sunday 31st May.

Don't forget (as if!!) it's Old Barn Quiz night this Sunday, usual time, 7-30. I have a done a cracking video clip round that is GUARANTEED to make you laugh out loud. All the other usual shenanigans with cash and/or chocolate to finish off. Lovely!

Thanks to all who attended the quizzes at Chard Con Club on Saturday and The Old Barn Club on Sunday. Great turn outs at both venues, thank you so much. Well done to 'Mucking Fuddles' and 'Strawberry Fields' on being victorious and to 'I thought this was Speed Dating' and 'Quiz in my Pants' for their efforts in collecting the respective wooden spoons, or more accurately (and more tastefully!) known as the chocolate!

Hi all, it's fast approaching quiz time again! This Sunday, 7-30 as usual. As it has now been ten monthly quizzes at 'The Old Barn Club' I have created an 'Honours Board'😁 See if your team features and who have, thus far, had the greatest success! Just a bit of fun as it doesn't really matter, does it? As long as we have our usual banter and laughter!

Due to the ever increasing attendance at The Old Barn Club quiz I introduced a new set up last night, seemed to go well but will make a small adjustment for next month. Well done to 'The Misfits' who stormed through with a maximum 20 point Wipeout final round to pip 'Plastered Again' to the £60 first prize with Arctic Barking Spiders coming 3rd. Bingo Babes grabbed the chocolate. Thanks again for a wonderful turnout, see ya all next month, Sunday 29th March 😁

Hi all, well, a week to go before the next Old Barn quiz, Sunday 22nd Feb, usual 7:30 start. I'm afraid the entrance fee is going up by a massive 50p, hope that's not too taxing (have you seen the price of printer ink?! 😳) Due to your wonderful support and ever increasing attendance numbers, I'm looking at the possibility of a second big screen. Where we will locate it is going to be a challenge but we'll work something out. See you on the 22nd. 😁
