Music Spoken Here is a project set up in 2022 to support exceptional live music in the West Midlands area, with a focus on modern jazz fusions, funk, soul and world music. We showcase exceptional artists and bands from around the country with events every other Thursday at The Marrs Bar in Worcester city centre. Our program has included established artists such as Yolanda Charles, Jason Rebello, P
aul & Jeremy Stacey, Alex Hitchcock, Paul Booth, Ryan Quigley and younger artists such as Tom Ford, Corrie Dick, Dan Lockheart, Rosie Frater-Taylor. We've also had two of the last 8 Young Drummer of the Year winners (Nathan Shingler & Tom Potter) and three-time finalist Zoe Pascal. Instead we operate a 'pay-what-you-can' on the door model, with the suggested contribution of Β£10-15 for most events. We also offer Club Membership, which includes entry to all our shows for just Β£18 per month.
