The Professionals: Six Hands

On April 18th, Orion hosts an exceptional culinary collaboration.

Alex - winner of MasterChef: The Professionals 2020 - leads the kitchen alongside fellow finalists Philli and Bart for an exclusive one-day dining experience. Alex’s cooking is defined by precision, modern technique and refined flavour - the mastery that secured his title - while Philli is celebrated for flavour-led dishes shaped by bold Asian influences, with a career spanning Michelin-starred kitchens, international residencies and intimate chef’s table experiences. Completing the trio, Bart is an award-winning Dutch chef with over two decades in luxury dining, whose journey has taken him from a small village kitchen to Michelin-starred restaurants, superyachts, five-star hotels and exclusive private households across the globe.

Orion has been warmly welcomed by the neighbourhood, and we couldn’t be more grateful. From familiar faces returning to new ones discovering us for the first time, it’s been a joy settling into village life - quietly becoming one of those places you’re glad you found 🦪

Valentine’s at Orion ❣️

This 14th February, join us in Wimbledon Village for a special Valentine’s Day menu, designed for lingering, sharing, and celebrating properly.

Begin with a Valentine’s cocktail on arrival - Portobello Gin shaken with lemon juice, sugar syrup, strawberry purée, and finished with strawberry & rose sweet cream. An indulgent start to the evening, with the option to add oysters - classic or apple-poached - for those who like to begin on a high note.

From citrus-cured salmon and our playful take on sweetcorn, to pan-seared hake, rolled ricotta gnudi, or dry-aged fillet steak for the main event, the menu finishes with white chocolate and strawberry parfait, champagne sorbet, or a curated cheese selection.

An evening of thoughtful cooking, a little romance, and just the right amount of theatre. Limited spaces available.

Sunday lunch, the Orion way.

Begin with £2 oysters, Dad’s Bread with whipped chicken butter, or Sweetcorn, Sweetcorn, Sweetcorn - because when it’s that good, you have to say it three times. Mains follow with dry-aged sirloin of beef, half corn-fed chicken, grilled halibut, or a beautifully layered cauliflower steak, all served with the trimmings you’d expect - and a few you might not.

And just when you think it couldn’t get better, the dessert trolley makes its way through the room. Unhurried, generous, and made to be shared - Sundays at Orion are meant to linger over.
