Introducing The Thursday Social

We’re trying something a little different this month…

Instead of our usual Singles Night, we’re opening the doors to everyone for a relaxed evening of conversation, laughter, music, dancing and good company.

Whether you’re looking to make new friends, catch up with old ones, enjoy a dance, or simply spend an evening in great company, we’d love to see you there.

Come on your own, bring your friends, bring your partner, or gather the neighbours together – everyone is welcome.

Just a little reminder about the intention behind our Social Afternoons at The Inglenook.

These afternoons were created to help bring our community together — particularly carers, elderly guests, and those who may feel isolated or simply enjoy some company.

The £5 charge is purely to help us cover a simple offering of sandwiches, scones, tea and coffee, and we do our very best to provide a warm and welcoming atmosphere for everyone.

They are not designed to be a formal afternoon tea experience, (which would cost around £25) but rather an affordable social gathering centred around conversation, friendship and community spirit.

We’ve been so touched over the months seeing people form friendships and genuinely look forward to these afternoons, which is exactly why we continue to run them.

Thank you, as always, to the many wonderful people who support them with kindness and positivity
