Statement regarding Crosshills Social Club

As members will be aware, Crosshills Social Club has now been sold. See our previous post.

✅Once all monies from the sale have fully cleared and all outstanding debts and liabilities have been settled, the membership records for the past five years will be passed to the Social Club Committee.

✅The Committee will then manually review these records to determine which members may be eligible for any residual funds remaining from the sale, along with how and when any eligible members will be contacted and paid.

🕓This will be a detailed and time-consuming process, involving checking, referencing and cross-referencing records to ensure the correct criteria are met.

⏳As such, this should not be expected to happen quickly

At this point, my contractual involvement with Crosshills Social Club will conclude.

I would like to wish all the members I worked with during my time supporting the club the very best for the future.

Crosshills Social Club – Member Update

As many of you will now be aware, the building was sold yesterday (for £176,000).

We will contact members during 2026 if there are any remaining proceeds to distribute once all legal and administrative processes are completed.

Please note this will take time — we must wait for the legal sale to fully conclude and work through historic membership records, including several years that were never digitised (2020–2023).

This won’t be a quick process, but we will update qualifying members with a continuous membership from 2020 - 2025 (inclusive) as soon as there is anything meaningful to report.

Yesterday we celebrated with laughter, karaoke, and friendship at our Farewell Party — and what a night it was. Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped give Crosshills Social Club the send-off it deserved. ❤️

Today marks our final day of trading from noon, and we know some of you may prefer to say goodbye quietly, without the big celebrations. The doors are open, and we welcome anyone who would like to call in for a last drink, share a memory, or simply take a moment to reflect on the years gone by.

From the whole team here at Crosshills Social Club — thank you for being part of our story. You’ve made this place more than just a club; you’ve made it a home. 🥂

Crosshills Social Club members - join us for our Farewell Party on Saturday 20th September from 7pm at Crosshills Social Club.

This is our final big celebration — with food, member priced drinks (for our members only), karaoke, and plenty of familiar faces. Let’s share memories, raise a glass, and give the club the goodbye it deserves.
