Happy Monday🥳
We have some new furniture in the bar area.
We have three barrels that have been custom made into tables perfect for those who prefer high stools. It’s allowed so much room for our fire to be so open ready for these colder months🔥
They have added so much character to our lovely country pub 😍

Our incredible Sunday roasts are BACK NEXT SUNDAY! 🥦 - message to book in now😆

And we couldn’t be happier to be serving up delicious roasts with meat supplied by our amazing local Meat Matters Farm, just down the road! 🥰 - Di expect a visit from us soon🤩

Proper local produce, a proper Sunday roast, and the perfect excuse to get the family together! 🍴

Today’s little update…
We have been busy painting away to give the pub a fresh new feel…

🚨🚨 THE NEWS WE’VE ALL BEEN WAITING FOR… 🚨🚨

THE GRANVILLE ARMS IS FINALLY REOPENING! 🥹❤️🍻

After what has felt like the longest few weeks EVER, we can finally say it…

WE’RE COMING BACK! 🎉🎉🎉

There honestly aren’t enough words to explain how relieved, excited and emotional we are to finally have an opening date.

We’ve had setbacks. We’ve had uncertainty. We’ve had days where it felt like this moment was never going to come.

But we are finally there…❤️

🤩THURSDAY 5TH NOVEMBER 4PM🤩

The doors will be open.
The bar will be pouring. 🍻
The music will be on. 🎶
And most importantly…

OUR PUB WILL BE FULL OF LIFE AGAIN! ❤️

We will be re-opening our kitchen from 12pm Friday with our new menu!!😆

We have missed every single one of you more than you know. Our locals, our regulars, our families, our friends and everyone who has supported us from day one.

The messages, comments, visits, kind words and constant “when are you opening?!” have genuinely kept us going. 😂❤️

So now it’s YOUR turn…

GET READY, BARFORD! 🎉

Tell your mates. Tag your buddies. Share this post. Get the diary marked and get ready to come and have a bloody good time with us! 🍻🥂

We are SO ready to welcome you all back through those doors and start this next chapter properly.

THE GRANVILLE ARMS IS BACK. ❤️

And trust us…

WE’VE MISSED YOU. 🍻

See you very, very soon. ❤️

✨ FINALLY… some light at the end of the tunnel! ✨

We can finally say that works are underway, and honestly, we couldn’t be more relieved! ❤️

We’re really hoping that by the end of play next week, we’ll finally have a confirmed opening date for The Granville Arms! 🤞🏻🍻

It has been such a long, frustrating and difficult five weeks, and we honestly cannot wait to get our doors open and welcome you all back through them.

We’ve missed our customers, our staff, the atmosphere and most of all, having our amazing local pub back where it belongs — at the heart of Barford. 🥰

A huge thank you to every single person who has continued to support us, check in on us, send messages and patiently wait for us to reopen. It really does mean more than you know. ❤️

We’re keeping everything crossed and hoping that we’ll soon be able to give you the news we’ve all been waiting for…

We can’t wait to see you all again! 🍻❤️

Lots of love,
Kerri x

❤️ A little update from us…

Unfortunately, we still don’t have a confirmed date for when we’ll be able to reopen the doors.

I know this has been frustrating and disappointing for so many of you, and honestly, it’s been just as difficult for me. I’m desperate to get back behind that bar, see all your lovely faces and get the pub feeling like home again.

We’re still waiting for the necessary work to be completed and, as much as I’d love to give you a date, I don’t want to promise something that we can’t guarantee.

As soon as I have a confirmed reopening date, you’ll be the first to know. ❤️

Thank you so much for all your patience, messages, support and understanding while we get through this. It genuinely means more than you know.

From myself, Brad and the team we can only apologise about the huge inconvenience and we cannot wait to welcome you all back through our doors once again.
Hopefully it won’t be too much longer now… 🤞🍻

❤️ A little update from us…

We are so sorry to say that we are still closed at the moment while we get the electrical issues at the pub sorted.

I know it’s frustrating, especially for those of you who were looking forward to coming in, and I honestly can’t apologise enough for the inconvenience. Believe me, we are all just as eager as all of you to get those doors back open! 🥺

Unfortunately, we don’t have a confirmed opening date just yet, and we don’t want to give you a date until we know for certain that we can open safely and properly.

As soon as we have an update, you’ll be the first to know. ❤️

Thank you so much for bearing with us and for all your lovely messages and continued support. It really does mean the world, especially at times like this.

Hopefully it won’t be too much longer… 🤞🏼🍻

We unfortunately had an electrical fire in the kitchen in our accommodation above the pub late last night.
Nobody was hurt and the damage is limited.
We are all safe however, all of the electric cut out and we have no power to over half of the building.
We are not allowed to open until we have had a qualified engineer out to inspect all the electrics in the building.
We are hoping this issue will be sorted today and we can re-open and have you all back in our amazing pub tomorrow!
Thank-you for your understanding and patience and we are so sorry for any inconvenience caused.

Hopefully see you all tomorrow - Kerri x
