We have been given the all clear to open 🤩
We will open our doors at 12:00 as usual 😆

We have used our time wisely and have had a little refresh of the pub. Just in time for next weeks big new addition to the pub… A POOL TABLE 🎱🤩

We unfortunately had an electrical fire in the kitchen in our accommodation above the pub late last night.
Nobody was hurt and the damage is limited.
We are all safe however, all of the electric cut out and we have no power to over half of the building.
We are not allowed to open until we have had a qualified engineer out to inspect all the electrics in the building.
We are hoping this issue will be sorted today and we can re-open and have you all back in our amazing pub tomorrow!
Thank-you for your understanding and patience and we are so sorry for any inconvenience caused.

Monday already?! 😅🍻

We have an exciting announcement regarding last weeks guest ale…
The Hawkestone x Butcombe - Hops & Glory will be back on Wednesday and we have stocked up with two barrels for you all to enjoy!

We are however still introducing a new ale this week… We have Timothy Taylor’s Landlord Dark - 4.3%. This will be in replacement to Butcombe for the meantime while we have the Hops & Glory on.

We also have a few new additions this week!
Introducing Erdinger in bottles the German l***r at 5.3%!

We have a new rhubarb and ginger gin 🍸
We have a new pumpkin coffee syrup ☕️🎃

If you’re looking for somewhere to escape the Monday blues, pop down and see us! ❤️

Our lunch menu is on, the main menu is running too, and there’s plenty of cold drinks waiting at the bar 🍺🍷

Nothing better than a proper Sunday roast, a few drinks and a nice chilled afternoon at the pub ❤️

We’ve got our Sunday menu running from 12–6, with roast beef, chicken and pork, plus plenty of other choices if a roast isn’t your thing!

We have the freshest and best joints of beef and pork from our amazing village farm Meat Matters - Di and the team have once again supplied us with the most incredible joints 😍 even our yorkies this week were made with the eggs from the farm 😍

💡QUIZ NIGHT 💡- Starting at 7:30 we have our quiz night - £3 cash per person and teams up to 6.
