Every year at our Staff Party we announce our Colleague of the Year - the person recognised by their colleagues for being a friendly, helpful and overall outstanding teammate. This year, the winner is the amazing Lee Yates! He's our long-serving (and frankly miracle-working) Transport Manager, who has kept our deliveries going strong throughout an exceptionally busy summer despite plenty of challenges, solving issues big and small with his trademark patience and kindness. Huge congratulations to Lee, who will be winning a very well-deserved holiday away! 🍻🎉

The Tour of Britain is all wrapped up now... a huge congrats to the winner, Tim Wellens, as well as Britain's own Lewis Askey who secured 2nd!

Winners or not, every cyclist got to briefly sample Wainfleet - and that's the best treat any of us could hope for 😍 maybe we'll see some of the cyclists again sometime!

We had a lovely reunion last week with John Else, who had the unenviable task of being in charge of Stuart's three-year apprenticeship at Mansfield Brewery in the late '80s. We asked what Stuart was like as a trainee.... John responded "a handful!" 😅🍻

Not quite long enough to sample all the charms of Wainfleet... but hopefully the riders got enough of a taste to want to come back! Maybe next time they could do a Tour of Brewery instead 😉🍻

Lovely to see Wainfleet spruced up for tomorrow, when our country's speediest cyclists will be racing through as part of The Tour Of Britain! 🚴

Unfortunately the brewery is just a little off the course, but luckily the Woolpack Wainfleet is right there in the town square 🍻 (although if any of the riders did want to take a quick detour to visit our brewery shop, we wouldn't turn them away!) 😉👀
