Weโve been working on something behind the scenesโฆ ๐ค
Panke Social finally has a website that actually feels like Panke.
Itโs not just a page with our address and opening times. We wanted to create a proper home for the venue โ the music, the people, the events, the photos, the nights that have already happened here and the story of what weโre building in Castlegate.
Thereโs a whole section for promoters too โ our space, sound system, DJ equipment, venue information and everything you need to know if youโre thinking about bringing your own night to Panke.
But Panke has always been about more than equipment and events.
The website also talks about the culture we want inside the venue โ respect, freedom to be yourself, looking after each other and creating a space where everyone can enjoy the night without judgement or unwanted behaviour.
Weโve also started connecting Panke with the wider story around us โ Castlegate, the events happening here, our past nights and the people and projects helping bring this part of Sheffield back to life.
Itโs part venue guide, part archive, part promoter resource and part of the story of where Panke is heading.
Panke isn't trying to be another bar or another club.
Itโs an independent underground space in the heart of Sheffield, built for music, ideas, promoters and people who want to create something.
