So delighted to see Alex Horey last night ! He popped in to say “ hi” whilst having a few days off to help his foot injury recover .

Two months ago , on a dark cold night , I met him on the A28 with his two adorable dogs, Ted & Bella. He had left Broadstairs a couple of days earlier and planned to walk to Landsend on a journey of self-recovery .

Over 800km and two months later he made it 🎉🎉🎉 What an incredible achievement !!

It has been fascinating and humbling following the journey of a stranger , I can now call a friend . 😊

He hits the road again this weekend , back where he stopped at Tintagel and is heading for Wales . He is continuing his own personal life journey whilst spreading the word on the challenges to men’s mental health .

Be assured , Alex’s journey is far from over . It’s just the beginning 💪🏼
