Barrow Racers The annual charity wheelbarrow race! Arguably the toughest challenge in the world, ever... Ok, maybe we lied a little. But it is pretty tough...

Another year another wheelbarrow race...

Do you think you are tough enough to enter this annual event? Teams of two; one pushing the wheelbarrow and one in the wheelbarrow stopping to have a pint in every pub. We will be starting at the Amman UTD and then moving on to:

- The Cross
- The Fishermans
- The Farmers
- The Red Kite
- The Railway
- The Pick
- The Cottage
- The Welfare
- The Cricket Clu

- The Red Kite
.. and then returning to for a straight run back to the Amman United! This works out around 6 miles in total.

* Pint in EVERY pub.
* To enter it costs £5 per person (all money going to LATCH, a Welsh Children's Cancer Charity.
* Fancy dress in mandatory. Each team will have a bucket with the aim of getting as much money as possible on the way down, and the way back is a straight up race! TIP: bring a wheelbarrow

Well, what an absolutely amazing day yesterday was! Thank you so much to everyone who chose to join us for the 2019 Barrow Racers event when there were so many other great events going on nearby throughout the day. We felt truly blessed! We will count up the money and announce the total raised later in the week but in the meantime, here is our group photo to commemorate the day! More pics are to come so keep your eye on our page and make sure you tag yourselves!

It's here! Teams of two, 3 miles down, 3 miles back (if you can handle it), fancy dress, 1 wheelbarrow and however much beer your belly can hold! We'll see you at the Amman United RFC, Cwmamman at 11.30am for pics and your first beer. We will then leave at 12pm sharp!
Hold on to your horses because you're in for a bumpy ride!
