It's nearly 1am and me and Katy are sat in The Hares reminiscing the last 9 years, it's mad to think in just under 6 week's we leave here! It's fair to say a few tears have been shed tonight from both of us!

Just me and Katy and a empty pub, so many laughs, So many tears!

Hey guys so sorry but due to an electrical fault the pub will be closed tonight, as an engineer can't get here till tomorrow morn, sorry for any inconvenience caused, hopefully back open as normal tomorrow.

Right then you wonderful lot.

Last night concluded our fundraising for Lillie a 13 year old girl (a friend of our daughter Lilah Bolton) Who has been battling Hodgkin Lymphoma a Cancer of the Lymphatic System.

Over the last few months we've been doing various events to send Lillie on a well deserved break once her treatment had finished, So all in all with everything we've done from raffles at different pubs, shops and Facebook and our "Night for Lillie Rose" last night we have raised a gob smacking £1547.01.

You guys are just incredible, Lillie will now be able to enjoy abit of Sun and a sneaky Sangria 😉 🤣

We just want to say a huge thank you to the Hare and Hounds community for your incredible generosity. The love and support you have shown Lillie over the last six months, without even knowing her, has been truly amazing, and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts ❤️

Lillie has been through something no 13 year old should ever have to face and its been an incredibly difficult time for her, both physically and mentally but she has faced it all with so much courage and bravery. After months of treatment, hospital visits, and the awful side effects of chemotherapy, she more than deserves a lovely holiday — and thanks to all of you wonderful people, that is now possible.

A special shout out as well to Katy and Mitch, two of the kindest people we know ###x
