Hi All,

At the request of the venue I have been asked for **your menu choices** for our monthly social lunch at Trevaskis Farm on Friday 5th June at 12:00 - 12:30.

For those who haven’t replied confirming your attendance yet, could you please let me know either way, so that I can provide confirmed numbers.

They need the information by Monday 1st June, so I would appreciate a speedy reply to this email.

This is the first call for our monthly social lunch. On Friday 5th June we will be dining at Trevaskis Farm, Connor Downs, near Camborne TR27 5JQ.

We will meet at midday, as usual for a 12:30 kick off. The menu is available for you to view in the attachment below.

We have been notified that Roy Rogers who served as a Firefighter at St Columb has sadly died following a short illness. We send our condolences and respects to Roy's friends and family.

ROY ROGERS
Peacefully on 9th May 2026 at Treliske Hospital after a short illness, Roy, aged 79 years of St Columb Major, formerly of Mitchell. Beloved husband of Barbara, much loved dad of David, Derrick, Karina and Kerenza, father-in-law of Deborah, Danny and Vic and a loving grandfather of Nicole, Emily, Diego, Destiny, Evie, Violet and Summer.
A private funeral service will be held.

We have received notification of the death of former Redruth on-call firefighter Neil Gay. If any colleagues have a remembrance of Neil that they would like to add, please get in touch via FB messenger. Neil's step-daughter is preparing a eulogy to Neil to be read at his service of remembrance at St Uny Church, Redruth, this takes place on Thursday 7 May 2026 at 14:00. The below photo shows Neil at a retirement presentation. To the right of Neil is his son Malcom also an on-call firefighter, who sadly lost his life to cancer eighteen years ago at the age of 30.
