Well played to Ronnie, last Thursday’s winner at Trimmers Poker Club! 🏆♠️

It was his first time back in a while and he arrived saying he was going to take the crown… and that’s exactly what he did! 👑👏

We had another brilliant turnout with three full tables, and the poker nights just keep getting better each week.

We’re back again this Thursday. Whether you’re an experienced player or fancy giving poker a try, everyone is welcome!

🎶WATERFRONT ARE BACK AT TRIMMERS!🎶

After the fantastic night we had with them last time, we’re really pleased to welcome them back 🙌

They absolutely smashed it on their first visit and we had loads of great feedback, so we couldn’t wait to get them booked back in.

Expect another cracking night with music from Foo Fighters, Tears for Fears, Simple Minds, Fleetwood Mac, Prince, Maxïmo Park, Billy Idol, James, Van Halen, Stevie Nicks, The Killers, Sam Fender and loads more. 🎸🎶

If you were here last time, you’ll know how good they were. If you missed them, make sure you get yourselves down for this one!

What a brilliant turnout for last Thursday nights poker at Trimmers Arms! ♠️♥️♣️♦️

We had 23 players and three full tables, including four young lads who travelled all the way from Sunderland to join us. Two of them had never played before, and one of the beginners, Gav, only went and won the whole thing on his very first appearance at Trimmers! 🏆👏

Well played, Gav some way to introduce yourself! Hopefully we’ll see all four lads back again soon.

Andy also came incredibly close to a massive win. He was waiting for the Ace of Hearts to land on the board to complete a royal flush. That would have won him the £23 high-hand prize as well as our £200 Royal Flush Jackpot! Unfortunately, the poker gods decided it wasn’t his time. So close, Andy! 😩

Another cracking night of poker with a great atmosphere and plenty of drama. Thanks to everyone who came along Thursday nights just keep getting bigger and better at Trimmers Arms! ..

They cover a brilliant mix of rock, pop, punk and indie, with songs from Roxy Music, ELO, David Bowie, The Stone Roses, Steely Dan, The Cure, The Police and loads more!

These lads are no strangers to the South Shields crowd and always blow the roof off whenever they play. Get yourselves down for another cracking Saturday night full of songs you’ll all love singing along to! 🍻🙌

Big Saturday night at Laygate tonight! 🍻🎶

We’ve got The PineBarrens live at Trimmers Arms from 9pm and if you’ve seen these lads before, you’ll know we’re in for a cracking night. Great band, loads of tunes everyone knows and always a brilliant atmosphere. 🎸🎷🍺

And don’t forget we’ve now got The Dolly Peel just over the road as well.

So why not make a night of it? Start off with a few nice pints and a catch-up in the Dolly, then wander over to Trimmers for the band. Or if the music gets a bit lively for you 😂, nip back over to the Dolly for a quieter pint.

Two completely different pubs, literally over the road from each other, so hopefully we’ve got something for everyone.

Kerry has booked another show at Trimmers so the spooks leave her in peace while she celebrates her 25th wedding anniversary and 50th birthdays in Italy 😂🙏🏻🥰😇

Her last show in May was so popular she could have sold it twice over, so please don’t leave it until the last minute if you would like to come.
