The last month has seen the announcement of this year's Spiel des Jahres awards, board gaming's most prestigious prize. To celebrate, at this month's AtB we'll be playing a selection of SdJ winners, including this year's top dog, Kingdomino. Went to the Yorkshire Sculpture Park yesterday for a little break from thinking about board game cafes, and came across this incredible creation by Tony Cragg, covered entirely in dice. Astonishing and fabulous!

Well that was an enjoyable way to spend an afternoon. A Feast for Odin proved surprisingly relaxing after the initial learning phase - definitely more forgiving Agricola, as there are so many options that there's always something available you want to do. Can't go whaling this turn? Oh well, maybe discover Greenland or breed some sheep instead! Perfect Sunday brain fodder 😊👍
