The new dating flex isn’t having 1,000 matches.

It’s having the confidence to start a conversation with someone you find interesting. For years, we’ve been told that connection should happen through screens, algorithms and carefully curated profiles.

The people who stand out now are the ones willing to do something far rarer:

✨ Make eye contact.
✨ Say hello.
✨ Risk a little rejection.
✨ Create a real story.

Because abundance of options was never the same thing as abundance of connection and in a world where everyone is swiping, the boldest thing you can do might be putting your phone down.

Fortune favours the brave ❤️

BODA FAITH SERIES.

There are thousands of sermons on marriage. Far fewer conversations about helping single Christians actually meet.

The reality is that many Christian singles aren’t struggling because they lack faith, commitment or desire for a relationship.

They’re struggling because there simply aren’t enough spaces where hundreds of like-minded Christian singles can meet naturally, in real life.

For most of human history, people met through community. Today, many people are trying to find a spouse through an algorithm.

So we’re bringing back the room. Just hundreds of Christian singles, a beautiful rooftop, great conversations and the possibility that your future partner might be standing a few feet away.

You can trust God’s timing and still put yourself in places where something beautiful might happen.

DELETE YOUR APPS. WE’RE COMING.

And we need some fabulous humans and gorgeous bars to help us do it.

As BODA lands in new cities around the world 🌍, we’re looking for the kind of people who walk into a room and know everyone by the end of the night. The ones who introduce strangers. The ones who make everyone feel welcome. The ones who believe life is better offline.

✨ Want to host BODA events in your city?
✨ Love bringing people together?
✨ Think you’d be brilliant at running a room full of 200 single people?
✨ Fancy turning your social skills into a paid role?

We’re looking for party girls, party guys, community builders, social butterflies, socialites, bar regulars, hype people and natural connectors.

If you’re a venue, bar, bookshop, rooftop, café or beautiful space that fancies filling your room with a ton of wonderful single people, we’d love to hear from you too.

We’re launching in new cities across the world and this is your chance to help shape what comes next.

Some of the best meet-cutes happen at sporting events and we witnessed that at Smith & Mills on Friday night.

Not because everyone suddenly becomes a sports expert but because for a few hours, hundreds of strangers are experiencing the same thing at the same time.

A last-minute goal. A terrible referee decision. The tension before a penalty. The collective roar when your team scores. In a world where so much dating happens through screens, sport gives people something increasingly rare: a real-life shared experience.

No awkward interview questions. No forced small talk. No staring at a profile wondering what to say next. Just two people standing next to each other, laughing, cheering, debating, celebrating and feeling something together. That’s why we’re bringing BODA Singles Watch Parties to bars.

Due to huge demand, we’ll be coming back at the end of the month for the next game - tickets in our bio are going FAST.

Your next relationship probably won’t start with a perfectly crafted opening line. It’ll start with a moment. A glance across the bar. A conversation sparked by the game. A stranger who suddenly doesn’t feel like a stranger anymore.

That’s a lot more romantic than a dating app.

🏆⚽🍻❤️

We’re living through one of the most self-aware generations in history. We know about protein intake, sleep scores, screen time, morning routines, nervous system regulation and optimisation.

Yet loneliness continues to rise. We started treating wellbeing as an individual pursuit, but humans have never thrived alone.

For most of history, wellbeing came from community. From shared meals. From friendships. From clubs, churches, pubs, bookshops and the countless spaces between home and work where people gathered, talked and belonged.

You can’t solve a loneliness crisis with individual solutions. You solve it by creating more opportunities for people to come together.

More dinner tables.
More coffee with strangers.
More wine with friends.
More conversations that weren’t planned.
More reasons to leave the house.

That’s a huge part of why we do what we do. Not because we think people need another dating app, another hack or another way to improve themselves.

But because we think people need each other. Liverpool, we’ll see you in a couple of weeks ❤️

Being asked out IRL isn’t just about romance. It’s about living in a world where people still have the courage to be human.

Where attraction isn’t hidden behind a screen. Where conversations aren’t optimised. Where someone decides you’re worth the risk of an awkward moment.

That’s why we’re so passionate about getting single people into rooms together, not because we’re anti-technology but because we’re pro-serendipity.

The best love stories rarely begin with perfect compatibility scores. They begin with a glance, a conversation, a bit of bravery, and someone deciding to say hello.

Maybe we’re old-fashioned or maybe we’re just remembering something we’ve forgotten.

❤️‍🔥 Better IRL. Always.

For over 80 years, researchers at Harvard tracked what makes people live longer, healthier and happier lives. The answer wasn’t money, status or success. It was relationships.

Close friendships. Meaningful connections. People who make you feel seen, supported and understood. Yet at the same time, we’ve increasingly outsourced one of the most important parts of being human to technology.

The irony? The thing we’re searching for on our screens is often built face-to-face. The future isn’t more efficient dating., it’s creating more opportunities for genuine connection in the real world because a good life has never been measured by how many people know your name.

It’s measured by how many people know your heart ❤️

P A R I S L A U N C H 💛💜💙💘❤️‍🔥💐🌸

64% of single people say they’d love to have a meet-cute in a supermarket, so naturally we flew to Paris and hosted one.

What followed was a reminder of something we’ve suspected for a long time: people are far more ready for connection than the internet would have you believe.

Within minutes, strangers were swapping dinner recommendations, laughing over shopping baskets and finding excuses to continue conversations that started over nothing more than a bottle of wine or a packet of pasta. The flirting was effortless, the atmosphere was light, and nobody seemed particularly interested in looking at their phone.

Perhaps that’s because a supermarket is full of something dating apps can never quite replicate: real life. It’s where people are making plans, picking out meals, imagining future dinner parties and moving through the ordinary moments that make up a life.

For one evening in Paris, we watched strangers slow down, look up and give chance a chance.

The apps promised infinite options. We’re still convinced there’s something magical about one unexpected conversation.

Thank you, Paris, we’ll be back ✨
