Salcombe and Kingsbridge Estuary Waterskiing Association

Salcombe and Kingsbridge Estuary Waterskiing Association Salcombe and Kingsbridge Estuary Waterskiing Association is a voluntary group set up by South Hams residents for better powerboating around our estuary.

Salcombe and Kingsbridge Estuary Waterskiing Association is a voluntary group set up by like minded South Hams residents to provide a forum for discussion about all things Waterskiing and Wakeboarding in and around the Estuary. Recently the harbour limits have been extended towards starehole bay - removing one of the favourite locations for waterskiing - on the bar on a clear, calm early evening.

Skiing on the sea is never ideal, compared with the flatter more protected waters of inland lake skiing. However - there are wide open spaces on the estuary which are potentially ideal "lake" style areas for waterskiing - we hope to gain permission for a trial controlled area at Wide Gates towards Kingsbridge for a special, protected, and safer area to practise our sport.
