🩵Yin yoga is the perfect balancing practice for our busy yang lifestyles! It’s a more introspective style of yoga, with long holds (3 to 5 minutes), allowing us to work deeply into the body’s tissues and listen to what happens inwardly within the stillness.

So excited about our new Year!!! We have all our usual fun happening weekly with a few more announcements to come…
Winter cafe is opening on the 9th of January from 8am - 11am and will be open Wednesday through to Sunday. We’ll be serving our delicious coffee, bacon, sausage or egg baps (all three if you’re feeling peckish) pastries, yogurt bowls and toast with your favourite toppings. Bring a book along or just sit and chat with friends… We’ll have chess boards, draughts and dominos if you’d like to stay and play.

Our popular Tuesday quiz night will be back soon with the next date to be announced this week. Pizzas back on Tuesday from 5pm, please book in advance as they go quickly without prior booking.

Wednesday night will see the local bike lads here at 6pm for their weekly meet and all welcome to join the ride out from here and talk all things motorcycles.

Restaurant open as usual from Wednesday - Sunday 12-2:30 and 5-9pm (closed for a refresh and new menu planning from the 22nd for a few days)

We are now planning the whole years events and have some amazing afternoons and evening coming to the Riser for 2025 so please keep your eyes peeled for updates.

Possibly a little tipsy, possibly a little happy, maybe a little bit relieved we did it but most of all flippin over the moon with our first Christmas 🎄 We missed our Mum and Nanny, she’s the reason we’re all here and we keep going as she was and still is the strength behind us all, when we think we can’t do this, we remember her…
Our Anchor Teresa Ekland, she is the reason for all of us here at the Riser and we love and miss her every day.
Merry Christmas, a huge thank you to you all and an extra hug for all the loves we are missing this year - until we meet again ###
