It is with heavy heart that I announce that this will be our final weekend at The Masons Arms.

Anyone who has seen the news will know how tough a time it is for hospitality with the forever climbing costs, which have ultimately defeated us.

We know we haven't always got everything right but we have tried our best to keep the doors open and the lights on. The recent break in was the final nail in the coffin for us - leaving it impossible to continue.

One thing for sure - I have fallen in love with Thorpe Hesley and the local community and I am gutted to say goodbye.

Our final day will be Tuesday 14th July so please join us between now and then, so let's drink the old girl dry!

After a stressful and difficult couple of weeks and various staff absences/holidays - we have decided close Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday this week.

We will be back open, restocked and ready to go on Friday from 3pm.

Last night, we were robbed and they’ve made a lot mess, plus stolen quite a bit of value ☹️😪

We’ve made the decision to reopen on Thursday afternoon to give us chance to ensure everything is safe and working.
