The sun is shining, the garden is looking beautiful, and we’re ready for a fantastic day here at The Gardeners Arms!

Our new chef is absolutely smashing it, and we’ve had some brilliant feedback already – thank you to everyone who’s come along and supported us!

🛍️ Our Spanish children’s wear pop-up shop is with us from 10am, so come and have a browse while enjoying breakfast or a coffee.

⚽ We’ll have the TVs on for all the day’s sport, including the World Cup, and of course our pool table is ready if you fancy a game.

🎶 Then tonight, we’re excited to welcome The Joanies Duo! We’ve heard great things and can’t wait for a proper boogie with you all.

Happy Thursday, everyone! It’s almost the weekend and we cannot wait. We’re looking forward to every single second of it.

We’ve got a great Thursday planned for you, with our full menu being served from 12pm until 8pm. We’ve got some delicious dishes on offer, including our lamb burgers, beef burgers, lovely steaks, Caesar salad and our popular mixed starters featuring pork belly and more. We’re currently working on our new summer menu, which we hope to launch in the next couple of weeks, so keep an eye out for that.

Our amazing new wine list has just launched too. We’ve listened to what you’ve asked for and added Chapel Down Bacchus and Chapel Down Sparkling Brut, alongside the return of a customer favourite from last summer, Defesa– a Portuguese red wine that can be enjoyed chilled or at room temperature. It was a huge hit last year, so come along and give it a try.

⚽ Football fans, don’t forget that the 2026 World Cup kicks off today! Join us for the opening match tonight and enjoy the atmosphere with a pint and some great food while watching the action unfold.

We’ve also got our pool table, darts and free jukebox available throughout the week.

🌿 BETTER LATE THAN NEVER... HERE'S WHAT'S ON IN JUNE! 🌿

We've been a little quiet recently while we've been getting a few things sorted behind the scenes, but now that everything is confirmed, we're excited to share what's coming up at The Gardeners Arms this month!

Firstly, a huge thank you to everyone who joined us for The Busking Barber on Friday. It was a fantastic night and judging by the feedback, we'll definitely be welcoming them back again in the future! 🎸🍻

We've got plenty coming up throughout June, including:

And that's just for starters!

We're also delighted to say that we now have a new chef on board and our kitchen is back open on its regular schedule:

🍽️ Tuesday & Wednesday: 12pm – 3pm🍽️ Thursday to Saturday: 12pm – 8pm🍽️ Sunday: 11am – 5pm

We'd like to apologise for any disruption over the last few months while we searched for the right person to join the team. Unfortunately, I couldn't do everything on my own, so there were occasions when we had to close the kitchen. Thank you all so much for your patience, understanding and continued support during that time – it really does mean the world to us. ❤️

We're now working hard on an exciting new menu, including a special World Cup menu alongside our regular menu. We can't wait to share it with you all and we're confident there'll be something for everyone to enjoy.

Thank you again for supporting your local pub. We look forward to welcoming both familiar faces and new ones throughout June.
