Our pubs, restaurants, cafes, hotels, nightclubs etc, are at the heart of our communities.

They bring people together and bring life to our cities, towns and villages, but they're under huge pressure from rising costs.

In the UK, you pay one of the highest VAT rates in Europe. 20% extra in VAT for your meal out or stay away. In France, Spain and Italy, it's 10%. In Germany? 7%.

Our message to Government is simple. Let's stand together to say VAT at 10% is fair for hospitality.

When royalty visited the chapel! A huge shoutout to ‘Betty Bangs’ (& Paul) - for putting on such a fantastic & funny show! We’ve not laughed or danced so hard in ages (especially Mark)! Congratulations & best of luck to the bride-to-be, our gorgeous & v clever niece Kitty - and to George (who works for Welsh royalty)! We love you both very much & can’t wait for your Solstice wedding in a few weeks time! Well done to my mum & dad for staying as long as you did…and it was a relief that dad was sitting so close to one of the speakers that he missed half of the VERY RUDE JOKES…although, he’s always a good sport - mum too! We definitely got our silliness from you guys! To everyone else who joined us - and to Tara (our beautiful & generous friend ) who helped us decorate (even after the B of Bride went BANG 10 minute’s before opening 🫣😲😝 - Diolch for helping make it such a special night!
