If anyone is interested, these are top people who do things for the right reasons .

We’re hiring two paid freelancers to work with Local Authority: Independent news for Medway and the Kent Current.

We need an Audience and Subscription Growth Specialist to help more people discover, register for, and subscribe to our journalism.

We are also looking for a Sponsorship and Advertising Sales Specialist to improve our commercial offer, find suitable partners, and build stronger relationships with sponsors and advertisers.

Both roles are mainly remote, working directly alongside us until March.

If either sounds like you, or somebody you know, full details and how to apply are in the comments.

Applications close at 5pm on Wednesday 14 October.

What an absolute privilege it was to watch Adam Ross play tonight. Just wonderful.

Thanks to The Love Family and the various fake Simon Bunyans as well.

And thanks to you lovely ‘erberts for turning out, to Boxley Road Live Sound for making it sound good and the best bar staff in the world at The Oast.

We make a half-decent team between us all, don’t we?

Missed out a ticket for the London gig? We are a hop, skip and a jaunty step away in north Kent. We are right next to the station (direct trains to Stratford, St Pancras and Victoria), and we have sofas, a cheap bar (especially compared to London!), great sound and a lovely crowd.

Oh, even better than that, we have Adam Ross!
