This is our first properly documented tea experiment.

In The Cup



Grown in Hwangae Valley, South Korea by D**g Cheon for a co-operative of 88 farmers, this tea is true to the form we have come to expect from The Postcard Tea Company.

We brewed 3.2g of the tea in a 13fl oz tea pot for a period of 7 mins. We poured and tasted every minute.

The verdict

Up to 3 minutes shows very little flavour but perfect for really weak tea lovers.

At 4, 5 and 6 minutes, this tea really starts to show its character. We got hints of vanilla pod at 5 and 6 minutes showed a beautiful honeycomb loveliness. Past 7 minutes it begins to develop that over stewed taste but absolutely retained the depth of flavour that we got at 4,5 and 6.

A truly fantastic tea.
