The campaign has now smashed through an incredible 200,000 signatures, sending a clear message to Westminster that hospitality businesses need support.

Pubs, restaurants, cafés and hospitality venues across the UK are facing unprecedented cost pressures. Energy costs, business rates, National Insurance increases and rising wage bills continue to squeeze businesses that are at the heart of our communities.

A reduction in VAT for hospitality would provide a vital boost to an industry that employs millions of people, supports local economies and serves as the social fabric of towns and villages across the country.

This isn’t just about protecting businesses. It’s about protecting jobs, communities and the places where people come together.

We had Helen and Steve from Rum N Gin Bar at our wedding on 30th May, and they were absolutely incredible from start to finish.

Not only was the bar itself beautiful and a real talking point for our guests, but Helen and Steve were two of the most genuine, friendly, and down-to-earth people you could hope to have as part of your special day. They made everyone feel welcome and created such a fun, relaxed atmosphere throughout the celebration.
The drinks were outstanding – every cocktail was made to perfection and our guests couldn't stop talking about them. One of my favourite memories was actually getting behind the bar and making a few drinks alongside Steve, which just shows how approachable and fun they both are. It felt like having friends at the wedding rather than suppliers.
Their professionalism, attention to detail, and passion for what they do really shone through, and they played a huge part in making our day so memorable. We honestly couldn't recommend Rum N Gin Bar highly enough. If you're considering booking them for your event, do it – you won't be disappointed!

We had a fabulous day at the Oak Barn, Hittisleigh, celebrating the wedding of Grace & Jamie! 🍸✨

We served up plenty of our big cocktails to keep the dance floor buzzing, along with lots of Rum-n-Gins perfectly paired with premium Fever-Tree mixers.
We were so busy behind the bar that we hardly had a chance to take any photos ourselves, so we're looking forward to seeing all of yours! 📸

Thank you to Grace & Jamie and all your wonderful guests for making it such a fantastic day. Wishing you both a lifetime of happiness together! 🥂❤️

We had a fabulous day serving drinks from our bar for another wonderful wedding couple, Katie & Alex. 🍸✨

Their signature cocktails, the Hugo and Mojito, were a huge hit, alongside our other favourite cocktails.🍹😍

The usual Rums-n-Gins flowed as always, paired with fresh fruit garnishes and Fevertree tonics. Along with a range of Beers and Ciders. 🥃🍺

The new addition of 'tequila' on the shots bar certainly provided plenty of entertainment, a popular choice throughout the day! 🌵🥃

All of the guests were an absolute delight. It's moments like these that remind us why we love weddings so much.🥰

Big shout out to pidsignz.co.uk⁠ for our latest bar sign! 🍹

We've given the back bar a fresh update, and we're sure you'll agree it fits perfectly with the Rum-n-Gin Bar. We took what we already had and gave it a new lease of life through a bit of upcycling 😀♻️

The previous back bar, with all its tiled sections, was incredibly heavy and never the easiest thing to position. Every setup involved plenty of shunting, manoeuvring, and more than a few groans from both of us! 😅

The new look is lighter, cleaner, and much easier to handle, while still keeping the character and style we love.

One of our favourite things about Easter each year has to be mini eggs! Powdery, sweet and just a little bit crunchy - they are borderline irresistible! Perhaps try the recipe below this weekend and let us know what you think 🥰 Happy Easter to you all 🐣

50ml gin�25ml Baileys�25ml crème de cacao�10ml simple syrup�Cadbury mini eggs, to garnish

Combine your gin, Baileys and crème de cacao in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake well. Add your simple syrup to one saucer and crush your Cadbury mini eggs and add them to another. Dip the rim of a coupe or martini glass into the saucer of simple syrup, then repeat this with the crushed mini eggs to form a chocolatey rim around the rim of the glass. Strain your cocktail into the glass and serve
