International Guinness Blues on the Bay Festival Warrenpoint

The festival is organised by The Bay Blues Project, a voluntary, not-for-profit project promoting blues music. www.bluesonthebay.com Northern Ireland.

A voluntary, non-profit Annual Music Festival situated in Warrenpoint Coounty Down. As one of Europe's leading blues music festivals, Blues On The Bay features 80+ gigs across 7 days at the end of May. The festival is organised voluntarily by the Bay Blues Project as a not-for-profit event to promote live music and attract international tourism to the Newry & Mourne area. 2025 marks our amazing 26th Anniversary! We are delighted to especially welcome Mary Coughlan who will perform at a special commemorative 26th Anniversary concert on 23rd May 2025. Tickets available via www.bluesonthebay.com

LONESOME PETE
Lonesome Pete is a one-man blues band, dubbed Northern Ireland’s answer to Seasick Steve. Writing his own material, he blends blues standards with his original songs, driving the rhythm with his unique mix of guitars, including a one-string diddley bow, 3-string handmade acoustic, and 6-string resonator, all held down by his kick drum. Get ready for foot-stomping blues like no other.
