Soooo… yeah, I went a bit quiet didn’t I 👀

Trust me, that wasn’t the plan. Life threw a few curveballs and I had to take a step back from what I love for a bit… but we’re not dwelling on that 💅

Because I’M BACK.

Currently setting everything up from home as we speak, getting all your fave bits ready to go again. The plan is still to get back into a unit in the future (manifesting that hard 🤞), but for now we’re going full online mode.

The website is being sorted properly, bits have already started selling (love that for us), and yes… there’s still some OG stock left from the shop 👀

So here’s the deal… once that’s gone, we’re bringing in fresh new goodies and TRUST ME, they’re worth the wait 😮‍🔥

Hey everyone 🤍 I know I’ve been a bit quiet, trust me, it’s not by choice. I didn’t expect to be babysitting the pub in Llanelli for this long and had hoped to jump straight back into running my shop (in a new location).

Unfortunately, the old shop was damp, freezing, had a leaking pipe upstairs, and my stock was getting ruined, none of which was disclosed to me at the time, even though I was told the leaking issue was fixed.

I promise I will be back. I just can’t say exactly when, which is honestly heartbreaking because I love what I do. Right now it’s just not feasible, especially as I didn’t even get a day off over Christmas and all my time is going into the pub.

Thank you for sticking with me, and I really hope to see you all again soon, back up and selling somewhere much better 🤍 x

I know I’ve been very quiet recently, and not because I’ve given up on the shop. Trust me, I haven’t 🤍

The last couple of weeks have been full on, doing 75+ hours a week while me and my partner have been running two pubs. We haven’t even managed to have a proper Christmas ourselves this year!

In the New Year, we’re hoping to get away for a week or so to enjoy some much needed time together. After that, everything will be back up and running as normal ✨

My website is still live, so you can continue to purchase items as usual, nothing has changed there!

✨ A little Urban Loft update ✨

What a crazy couple of weeks it’s been! Christmas is always a super busy time for us at the pub, so for now I’ve had to put the shop slightly on the back burner and put in some extra hours in the kitchen. On top of that, we’ll also be temporarily taking on another pub over the Christmas period, so it’s all hands on deck at the moment 🍻🎄

Because of this (and some not so great conditions in the arcade), I’ve made the tough decision to take everything down from the shop for the time being. There’s ongoing damp issues in the unit that weren’t disclosed to me before I got there and, with me not being there regularly, it’s already started to damage some of my stock, I’ve unfortunately had to throw a few pieces away already. With the walls and conditions being as they are, it just isn’t worth risking losing even more stock while I’m away from the shop.

That does mean the shop is going to look very empty over the next few months, but this is purely to protect the business and the pieces I’ve worked so hard to source. Sometimes you have to take a step back to move forward 🤍

The good news? Urban Loft is very much still alive and kicking online!
