Not a Wild Bunch update here, but a similar thing.
Tony Basnett who has headlined for us twice, to great effect both time, and MCed a couple of times too, Is up for an award - Which I for one, think he very much deserves.

For those of you who are stuggling to remember, Tony previewed his Manchester half hour show "Simon Says... Grow Up!" at the Wild Bunch.
For those who are still struggling... "Chalk P***s Guy".

So the Camel's Hump was a nice venue, but without a seperate function room, the regulars are WAY too loud to talk over. I wouldn't want to put new acts through that.

So I'm on the hunt again, more details as they happen

is moving Venue.
I figured i may as well stick it up here officially.

The Walkabout is a sticky, unclean venue with shameful toilets and an assistant-manager whose badly-disguised attempts to make me leave, frankly made me depressed and angry towards the people i love.

I'll have set up with a new venue hopefully in time for the new year, this page will be updated as details occur.

Important Gig coming up. Its not Wild Bunch, but it is at the Walkabout; David "Weam" Mohan is getting his ponytail cut off for charity. Raising money for Help for Heroes.
Many Wild Bunch regulars will be there performing though: Luke Tait , Richard Batt, Carl Gilespie and Jim Cleeves are all on the bill, as well as myself.
Theres also bands, acoustic, raffles and general fun & games.

Doors open 12:30, this pretty much an all-day thing, ending at late in the evening, £2 on the door come in at some point and help raise some cash for the cause.
