Front of House – DIVE, on Margate Harbour Arm
(Temporary Now-End of September)
DIVE was founded in 2018. We opened our first brick and mortar on Margate Harbour Arm in 2020. We serve spicy, zesty and herbaceous contemporary Mexican food with dive bar soul. As we launch our sixth season we are on the hunt for a front of house team member.
DIVE is our tiny terracotta taqueria overlooking Margate’s iconic sea front. The menu offers a small menu of DIVE classics so service remains smooth and consistent even in especially busy periods. Pacing is high-energy, team communication and cooperation keep things running smooth and tight. We’ve nurtured a lively but safe environment that encourages guests to relax in the sun, celebrate with excellent food and drinks and be genuinely hosted. Building relationships long-term amongst colleagues and guests is a priority.
The role
You’ll be working front of house: keeping guests, tables and orders managed efficiently. We do not take reservations so managing guests expectations whilst queuing, running food and drinks, keeping things moving/grooving, and ensuring everyone is having the best time that they can.
In addition you will assist in maintaining standards related to:
Cleanliness and organisation of public facing spaces and your work station

Approximately16-25 hours per week
Pay
Hourly minimum wage + service charge

• Confident, friendly and good with people
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
• A team player – small team so everyone mucks in
• Someone who genuinely enjoys a busy, energetic service
