Niche Radio - Manchester's radio show for all things Sci-fi, Comic
and Gaming. Including segments about what's new in Forbidden Planet International, Whedon-Watch, Who would win in a fight, Competition Time and What If... Listen to the link at the top of this description to listen on Fab radio International every Wednesday from 6pm. Embrace the alternative. Geek Night - The Comic-con with a bar! An evening of all things Geek. Cosplay competitions, Geeky Quizzes, Retro Gaming, Stalls, Gaming Tournaments, DJs and Live Acts playing your fave Sci-Fi, Cult Film and Gaming Themes with prizes donated from Forbidden Planet Manchester! Live long and may the Force be Bad Wolf! Niche Nights' 90s Night! - All the best and worst of the 90s. 90s themed prizes for the most 90s dressed and tunes from the Niche Nights DJs covering all the grimiest, glitteriest, glam, grungey and god-awful 90s. Expect Will Smith. TOKYO Chipped - Combining cult anime projection screenings, retro gaming on many platforms, live chiptune gigs and a weird and wonderful JPOP/KPOP, chiptune and nerdcore clubnight, TOKYO Chipped is a veritable smorgasbord of nerdy entertainment that attracts some of the biggest international Chiptune names. Dinosaurs and Capes - A DJ night of 90s Punk, Motown, Rock and Heavy Soul. Free shots if you wear a cape. Dinosaur themed games and an inflatable T-rex! (EDIT - The inflatable T-Rex deflated. He had served us well. We remember him.) The Conal Taylor Show - Conal plays the finest of 60s, Motown, Beat, Stax, Funk and Soul. The legendary DJ behind many of Manchester's best DJ nights brings his record collection to Fab Radio International and an insider look into the music that made every other type of music.
