Here is the line up for next Wednesdays wh***ey tasting! I’ve chosen a mix of familiar faces and hopefully some new favourites to help me tell some of the fascinating history of Irish wh***ey and some of the legendary distilleries that have been keeping us rosy cheeked for 100’s of years. We’ll of course be talking about processes that create all of the delicious variety’s of Irish wh***ey and in the end we’ll choose our “Top of the Drops” which will become fibbers wh***ey of the month! Our wh***ey of the month will have a tasty little discount whilst it remains in the top spot so get down and cast your vote!

Hello book lovers! For our book of the month the book club has decided on ‘The Eyes Are The Best Part” by Monika Kim. This one’s a little spookier to keep us on our toes through Halloween. The wonderful Michelle - B For Butterfly Books is doing us a book club discount! I am picking up enough for our current members but if anybody would like to get involved and supper some local businesses please reach out and we can get some more copies sorted. Our next meeting will be on the 20th, you don’t have to have read the whole thing by then, just come along and have a chat about books! There’s even a rumour that their might be a scorn or two 😉

Preparation for our birthday party this Saturday is well under way! As well as some ridiculously cheap Guinness we will have some special cocktails on 2-4-£10 all day!!!

We have a Poitínita (poitín, lime, sugar)

And a Kerry Gold Fashioned (Kerry Gold infused wh***ey, honey syrup, bitters)

Make sure you come and grab a drink or two before they’re gone! Sláinte!

How time flies! It’s been two years since our little pub opened its door and we’d love to invite you all to help us celebrate! On October the 10th we will be opening up at 12pm and serving £4.50 all day!!!

We will have live music on through the day, drinks specials to tantalise your taste buds and there might even be a few nibbles on offer too 😉.

As you all know we’re a small place so get yourself down nice and early if you want a seat.
