Children and dogs Welcome We have been here for over 13 years now and we have a wonderful team, very friendly locals and our resident rescue dog Marley. We pride ourselves of being all inclusive and are proud of our community spirit and charity work
Children and dogs are welcome but must be sat with parents and kept on leads (not the kids😅)

A walkaround bar area with lots of seating areas, darts boards, tv's and lovely open fires when it gets a bit nippy. Outdoors we have a large beer garden overlooking the canal which is a real suntrap, lovely to watch the boats go by on and we also have a lovely covered garden great to sit in when the Manchester rain is bouncing down. We offer great beers inc Holts cask ale, Holts Black, Caffreys, Guiness, San Miguel, Strongbow, Dark fruits, Carling and Coors to name but a few, premium spirits, coffee and tea. We show all live sports and games with BT and Sky and always looking to do new things and keep the place as entertaining as possible. Weekends are all about entertainment in the cabaret room with karaoke, live singers Tribute bands, Northern Soul nights and dancing

We are an over 25s pub but this is at the discretion of management for certain events always give me a ring and arrange if you want to bring a family member or friend for a special birthday or first legal pint as a lot of our regulars do.
'It works for us...'
At weekends Fri, Sat,Sun only after 8pm we have a dress code which came from my dad who was a big believer in 'getting your glad rags on' after a hard week at work...We don't expect you to come 'suited and booted' but just no full on tracksuits or sweatshirt shorts or workwear etc save them for the gym or the building site ... T shirt jeans and trainers are fine. We value our elders very much at The Duck and have a very popular monthly party the last Thursday of every month called 'The Recycled Teenagers' its £3 entrance
It starts at 2pm til 6pm doors open 12 and includes a lovely meal, live entertainment, raffles and just the nicest group of people you could wish to meet. We have beginners Line dancing every Monday apart from bank Holidays at 7.30 at £3.50
We do take bookings for wakes, birthdays and many other celebrations and can reserve so many tables but we don't have a private room and it's at our discretion as we like to keep are regulars happy. We can assist with wheelchair entry...its just a very small step at our entrance and have fully accessible toilet with key.
