We are loving Cups life right now. The garden is gorgeous, the food is flying out, we are county award winners for CAMRA, the cups doggie visitors are increasing and we are seeing more and more lovely folk from out of town mingling with our trusty locals. We love these interactions around the bar where conversations flow, drinks are shared, community at its best.

Saturday:

It was a creative night at The Cups tonight!
Rehearsals for Theo May’s 11 piece who perform at Tetbury Goods Shed this Wednesday.

Wow! What another amazing Sunday with our lovely Sofa Sessions! A packed house for 15 year old and Nova and Ray.

These guys all started out coming to our open mics and now have progressed on to their own sets and spotlights. We love that!

Reuben is just 15 years old and half of his set was original music. We are proud that we gave him his first paid gig! 👊

Join us each Sunday as grass root, emerging and local talent gets a chance to shine in front of a really fabulous audience! You!

As well as pizzas you can now grab yourself a 100% vegan Burger on a Friday and Saturday night. Complete with a delicious homemade Rainbow Slaw which includes apples and walnuts made by Jacob, our customers are telling us these burgers are delicious! A plate is just £15 to include fries and homemade BBQ sauce.

Pizzas, Arancini and Gyozas are also on offer!

📣 We are totally stoked to announce that after winning North West Wiltshire CAMRA Pub of the Year that we have now been voted Wilts County Pub of the Year. This means that we are in healthy competition with the other 3 winners from Dorset, Hampshire and Berkshire. Then we think it goes to Regional, Super Regional then National.

It would be a dream to go any further! Meanwhile from very naive but sincere beginnings two and a half years ago we have firmly managed to somehow get ourselves on the CAMRA map. Alongside beer the pubs are judged for atmosphere, cleanliness, community, decor and of course the welcome.

In this climate of pubs closing we feel privileged to be somehow defying the odds and recognition from such a reputed body like CAMRA like this really really help!

We have set the stage but now with all the classes, groups and events that happen here day in and day out alongside the regular faces, the dogs, the energy you all bring to this beautiful old building make this, for us a pub of a lifetime!

Thank you CAMRA and for the support from the lovely folk at North West Wilts Camra for getting behind us. We really are honoured!

THIS FRIDAY!

Live and raw at the now Award-Winning The New Three Cups Inn Malmesbury we welcome back The Swamp Stomp String Band for another night of agricultural shenanigans in our appropriately named Hayloft venue.

With their signature blend of gritty ragtime, country heart, bluesy stomp and folk-fuelled fire, all served with a fistful of "musical talent and unbridled humour", The Swamp Stomp String Band deliver brazen, theatrical live shows that turn dance floors into dust clouds and spontaneous cider-soaked singalongs into unforgetable nights.

Armed with gritty guitars, twanging banjos, howling harmonicas, a thudding double bass, pounding drums and their distinctive flat pack honky-tonk piano, they tear through everything from riotous songs of questionable life choices to heart-worn ballads and modern sea shanties. Play your cards right and you might even get invited for a waltz.

Fiercely independent, they self-0record, self-promote, and self release every track, working with friends, family and loved ones at every stage they bring a true DIY spirit to every stomp, shout and sweaty encore.

For over 10 years they've stormed stages across the UK, from muddy festival fields to ram-packed city venues. And with three successful, self promoted tours behind them, this band unapologetically continues to hold two fingers up to algorthithm-friendly, over polished imitations and prove its still possible to play with heart, energy and personality.
