is one of the most exciting pop-rock artists gaining fast popularity with proud LGBTQ+ anthems and immense stage presence.

Hailing from York, England, she has spoken openly about her disappointment in the axing of the BBC Introducing stage at Reading Festival, which she is seen here performing at today.

She was given the opportunity to perform at thanks to BBC Introducing as well as radio play support in her earliest days, helping her make the transition from busking on the streets of York to festival performances and worldwide tours.

As anybody who is involved in grassroots music will tell you, our community needs to pull closer together than ever before to ensure live shows continue. Local supporting artists are essential to helping not only with marketing events coming to new areas (that pesky algorithm makes it harder and harder for people to see beyond the repetitive content) but they also bring the crowd to life, showing off their fabulous talents and performing their hearts out alongside touring bands and their fans!

It was an absolute pleasure to enjoy Bath based singer-songwriter at a celebration for supporters of last night.

A truly beautiful evening was had under a cascade of wisteria and roses, and as ever, it was made so memorable thanks to the common thread we all shared, our support of music ๐ŸŽถ

As I have a week off of the festival circuit this weekend (best wishes to all our friends at Boomtown), I thought I'd take a moment to share some of the incredible artists that I've been fortunate to see on my travels this summer so far...

๐ŸŽตLizzie Esau has been at both Truck Festival and YNot this summer!
๐ŸŽตBERENICE performed at YNot too, alongside her amazing band.
๐ŸŽต3 Days of Wonder played the view stage at Boardmasters, bringing out Kate Hall to perform their gorgeous new collaboration song.
๐ŸŽตStanding side of stage for THE KABINS as the Boardmasters crowd went crazy for their new song Cherry was fantastic - so proud of those boys!
๐ŸŽตShale were new to me but I saw them twice this summer and they blew me away...Hopefully we will work with them soon!!!
๐ŸŽตPia Rose was wonderful at Truck Festival, as were ๐—˜๐—œ๐—š๐—›๐—ง๐—ฌ ๐—˜๐—œ๐—š๐—›๐—ง ๐— ๐—œ๐—Ÿ๐—˜๐—ฆ who performed on the main stage!

It's mid August but we're talking about New Year's Resolutions because one musician is powering through with his aim to perform a 365 day gig in 2026 ๐Ÿ‘€

We're talking about Isaac Neilson and he's coming to Somerset on Friday 21 August The Tunnels - Frome.

You are invited to become part of his do-or-die year by enjoying a night of live music from this wonderful Derbyshire-based singer-songwriter.

Isaac started on open mic nights at the age of 12 and started writing songs in 2022, landing a BBC Introducing slot Y Not Festival in 2024. However, as many musicians find and is indeed the reason why our business, Sonar Presents, exists, he found gatekeeping in the industry held him back. This coupled with the increased barriers faced by working class artists made him feel like he couldn't break through in the notoriously difficult music industry. He is trying to build momentum with a gig every single day.

It goes without saying, we are absolutely delighted to share this story and we can't wait to catch up with him on Friday 21 August in Somerset.
