Raising Funds Through Having Fun

Raising Funds Through Having Fun RFTHF is your platform for the celebration of life and friendship. Please use it to enroll people a HOW DO YOU GET INVOLVED?

The aim of RFTHF is to bring friends together to reconnect and celebrate life and friendship. It is for everyone, particularly people who would like to develop their Project Management and Event Management Skills, to help them put employer recognisable experience on their CV’s. The idea is that you raise money for a charity of your choice, by doing normal every day things we do anyway. For example

, my friend Will has been organising an Easter Karaoke night, and is going to raise a little money for my chosen charity, Back on Your Bike. It doesn’t matter how much or how little we raise at any given fun event, just that we are doing something awesome and giving back to the world. Imagine a world where whenever anyone was having fun, they were helping someone. By organising, participating and supporting fun events that we identify with and do on a daily basis anyway, we can raise money for any chosen charity and make help difference in someone’s life. This website is a portal for you to market and advertise your own events within your community, meet people around the world with similar interests hosting and participating in their own RFTHF fundraisers, and in doing so help raise money for your chosen person or charity. This intends to be a self generating, not for profit platform that like-minded people around the world can make a difference whilst doing the things they love, and do on a daily basis anyway. Do you want to help in organising and running one of the planned activities? Do you have any ideas for activities within your friendship group which can help raise funds? Don’t know where to start on getting your fundraising initiative up and going? Get in Contact and we can work together to create something awesome that can change the world! Contact: Lyndsay Taylor

Zannah Robinson started the London Ladies in December 2012. After unsuccessfully trying to set up a roaming Women's Institute group for a group of friends who live all over London and couldn't meet in the same town each week, she set out on our own...

They go to a different friend's house on the 2nd Thursday of every month, to try an activity they haven't done before, have dinner and a gossip.

The London Ladies are holding an Inaugural Summer Party on the amazing roof top gardens in Faringdon, to have fun, meet new people, and raise money for Macmillan Cancer Research in honour of a friend's mother who recently passed away from cancer.

Tickets cost £10 each, which include a raffle ticket. Everyone from the core group is bringing a dish, and all attending are asked to bring a bottle. If you have some bits and bobs to compliment the raffle, please bring them - prizes currently include Estee Lauder make-up, chocolate, and homemade chutney!

Her aim is to raise at least £40 for the charity.

Email Zannah on: [email protected] to find out more information

Looking forward to seeing your there and razzle dazzling our way through summer for Charity!

I spoke to a friend yesterday. He wanted to make changes in his life, change his job and create new opportunities for himself. I found this video and need to share it.

If you’re going to be successful you’ve got to be willing to sacrifice what you, are for what you are willing to become. You’ve got to be willing to put down that phone, sacrifice your sleep, and get the job done. To create the opportunity to make your dreams become a reality - watch this.

The first five minutes inspired me to start RFTHF and make it the largest global charity platform in the world.

I’m sacrificing my sleep to make my dreams happen. What are you doing?

Let’s do something awesome that can change the world
