Hiding within one of the most beautiful buildings in South London and the only remaining original stately Villa on The Broadway, The Prophecy is a private members’ club in Wimbledon open to individuals looking for a sophisticated yet informal place to dobusiness, network, party and relax. atile event space, two bars, warm relaxing lounges and a glamorous nightclub. Exceptionally good classic drinks are also a house speciality, including a revival of the old London favourite, gin, with a variety of superior brands available. The bar also boasts an unrivalled wine list including aged wines and fine Champagnes. During the day The Prophecy’s rooms are a light, bright, informal environment in which to host meetings, networking events or simply as somewhere to relax with a coffee and the day’s papers. The Prophecy’s unique interior blends the grandeur of the Art Nouveau Belle Époque with contemporary metallic colours and luxurious textures to create a sumptuous event space spanning the ground floor. Overall the venue is comprised of seven individual lounges, two bars, a restaurant and nightclub and can be hired as a whole for corporate events, partiesand product launches with space for a dramatic fashion runway the full length of the building. The Prophecy’s ground floor will comfortably accommodate 500 guests. Individual tables can also be reserved for between 2 and 18 guests. With its gold exposed brickwork and gorgeous crystal chandelier this is a truly special place to enjoy informal fine dining and outstanding wines. After 10pm at the weekend, this area becomes a night club featuring some of the UKs best DJs and entertainers while during the summer months the Art Nouveau style French doors open onto the beautiful courtyard garden.

UK GOD FATHER OF NEO-SOUL PERFORMS IN WIMBLEDON... The Prophecy, has teamed up with RM2 Live to bring Wimbledon the best in soul music. On 21st September we bring you Soul Central with Omar MBE performing on the official launch of the night which will be held every Friday. Omar first came to our attention in 1991 with his break through hit, 'There’s Nothing Like This' and since then has worked with legends such as Leon Ware, Stevie Wonder and Angie Stone, to name a few. As well as Omar DJ’s Fitzroy ‘Da Buzzboy’ and Dave VJ, both regulars on Colourful radio, Choice FM and TSOL Radio will be spinning on the night. Future weeks will include DJ’s from jazz FM, Soul II Soul as well as the cream of UK Soul.

This event is open to the public and starts at 9.00pm, until 2.00am. Ladies free before 10.30, £10.00 on the door after, members go free all night. Contact [email protected] for more details on concessionary guest list, birthday bookings and tables.
