Join us with Anna Cramling, for another Casual Chess Tournament.
Last year's visit was a blast, and this one is set to be even bigger!
(If you can bring a chess set along, that will be a great help!!!)

1pm Sunday 4th August
MMy Elephant Park (search in google maps)

There will be multiple tournaments done by chess experience to facilitate numbers.
Our format is double elimination knockout, playing 10 minute games.

Just turn up (before 1pm) and find Ben (me) to enter.

Our monthly casual tournament returns this weekend, we'll have multiple brackets, so fun for all levels! Just turn up by 1pm to enter :)

New Tournament: 1pm this SUNDAY, 21st April, at MMy Elephant Park, SE17 1GA

Last month's tournament was a banger - with 50 players filling both tiers. A big congrats to Joaquin🏆 who took Tom 🥈 through gruelling draws to eventually claim victory. And Guy 🥉 fought through the entire second bracket to rescue Third!

Tournament details:
- Free to enter and fun for all levels. Just turn up at 1pm!
- 10-minute time control.
- Knockout, our etiquette is to offer a drink for the person who knocked you out! (only happens once!)

HERE WE GO! Fun Chess Tournament this weekend 🏆♟ Sunday 1pm, 18th Feb.
Just turn up and give me (Ben) your name - I'll have a clipboard.
Please ensure you are on time as it is a knockout format, and late entries are hard to facilitate!

A couple of weeks ago we played the London chess club head-to-head, with 100 games being played in 3 hours!!
It was tight at the top, but the lower brackets won it for the London Chess Club, Congrats!! Following this we are one and the same❤️ make sure to follow on Instagram for updates on weekly sessions.

This week we are done away with teams, and it's every person for themselves!
There are no prizes but we have an etiquette of offering a drink to the player who knocked you out - (half-pint/coffee/juice etc!) - A lovely sign of respect and friendship!

MERRY CHRISTMAS, just in time with the pics of our fun Christmas tournament 🎄 The ultimate champion of ultimate destiny has been crowned, and his name is GUY 🏆🍾 He earned the win in the packed final tournament, taking on WGM Andreea, and Igor - the Anna Cramling tournament champ!
