There is a special type of feeling when you lock down your car on the trailer or truck, knowing that, that night could be the last night of yours. You joke around with buddies as you pull up to the track and park in your spot. You unload your car from the trailer and make it to the inpection line hoping that all your hard work passes. You line your car up in the line and finish your final adjustments. The feeling of butterflys over controls your stomach and your family and friends head to the stands to watch the intense heat that you are about to be in. You sit down in that seat of yours, strap your belt and give God a little prayer. The smashed up cars from the previous heat start coming off the track on the bobcat, and some are driven off barley running. You start the engine as many others do the same. That feeling gets stronger of butterflys but you press the gas and drive onto the track anyway. Once on the track you park up in front or in middle of the pack and the track gets locked in. You look around at all the people wanting to see a good heat take place, while trying to see where your friends and family are sitting. The butterflys are gone now and all you can hear is mouldy ol dough playing! And the green flag drops! This is the feelings i crave every time i race seasons..
