Eastern Pavilions is a collaborative project involving eleven visual arts organisations from across the eastern region. It explores new ways of working together and builds on the diverse and exciting range of activity that is being undertaken in the region. Eastern Pavilions has to date delivered a series of talks exploring contemporary approaches to supporting artists and organisations that in tu

rn support artists, and the production of a print portfolio supported by a network of patrons and region wide events that include opportunities to purchase artworks.

Just dropped off the Eastern Pavilions print portfolio at Eastside Projects where it will be on display as part of 'Editions Shop UK' during their next exhibition 'Trade Show' 6 Dec to 22 Feb - the project aims to bring together all artist editions available in the UK for sale to one venue!

Collaborative Acts, Thursday 14th March 2.30pm – Scratch Night from 6.30pm, MK GALLERY, Milton Keynes

Artists and curators from across the east and south east regions of England, are invited to attend Collaborative Acts, a space to hear more about opportunities to work together with others and how groups of artists are doing this already - either as informal networks or as collectives.

MK Gallery will provide an informative, informal environment to meet other artists, hear about diverse ways of working and seeing the outcomes of collaborative practice.

Speakers include: Gareth Bell-Jones, Artists and Programmes Curator at Wysing Arts Centre, will introduce the Escalator Visual Arts Programme with Escalator artist Florian Roithmayr, before contributions from Emma Jayne Taylor from Artworks MK and Carousel art collective. From 6.30pm join us for a special MK Gallery Scratch Night programmed by artists from the most recent retreat at Wysing Arts Centre.

Tickets are free and event attendees will be provided with dinner (5.30pm and 6.30pm, with a pay-bar) and are invited to stay for a special MK Gallery Scratch Night from 6.30pm, programmed by artists from the most recent retreat at Wysing Arts Centre.

Hot off the Press!

The Eastern Pavilions print portfolio has a nice mention in the current issue of Art in Print. The diverse box set of 12 prints commissioned by the Eastern Pavilions network reassures the continuation of printings rich history within the East of England, and beyond.
