Marchโs menu was an ode to spring with lots of botanicals and fresh herbs! ๐๐
I kept the menu smaller but with some more complicated recipes, including two with homemade syrups ๐ I love making my own syrup - itโs so easy to add a ton of flavour (just dissolve 1 cup of white sugar in 1 cup of boiling water and simmer with any fruits/herbs/spices of your choice!) For this menu, I made a cucumber syrup and a lemon rosemary syrup - both were surprisingly versatile! โบ๏ธ
Highlights were definitely the Lemon Rosemary Old Fashioned, the Rosemary Bramble and the Cucumber Lemonade (super refreshing!). The only one we didnโt try was the Blackberry Sage Spritzer, but I am keen to give that a go soon - Iโm always curious about cocktails that involve wine! ๐ท
Now that spring has properly sprung, Iโm looking forward to warmer days aheadโฆany guesses on Mayโs theme? ๐
