We are excited to be joined by Jacob Neverhill, a singer songwriter and producer with over 21,000 monthly listeners. He is our first performance of the day so make sure you have enough time to grab a drink at the bar and make your way to see him on stage at 3.30pm!

"There’s still an outdated mentality and a stigma that is often attached to certain individuals taking certain crewing positions and it can be deeply off-putting. I’ve been told on so many occasions “this person may not hire you because they won’t work with women”. We lose talented individuals who have a tremendous amount to contribute when exclusion occurs based on stigma alone.
I believe that the way to overcome this in general is to encourage and support people who might not fit the conventional standard who are hardworking, passionate, and keen to learn with opportunities to strengthen their skillsets and their confidence. EQ Crew is a perfect example of an event which encourages this.
When we become confident in ourselves, illogical criticisms are easier to ignore, and we begin to see more diversity which in turn encourages others to participate."
