** The Shed, Student Union position update 21/11/13 **
Vice Chancellor to address the Student Union AGM on The Shed
The Student Union has been told by the University that they are only considering purchasing The Shed and no decision has been made yet. They are currently undergoing due diligence on the purchase.
If the University decide to purchased the Shed no decision has been made on the future use of The Shed building. In previous conversations with the SU President and SU Chief Executive about the purchase of The Shed, it has never been said that or discuss that The Shed would be turned into offices, that has never been on the agenda.
The Vice Chancellor, Mary Stuart and the Deputy Vice Chancellor Scott Davidson have listened to students concerns and have agreed to attend the AGM, on the 25th November 12-2 in the EngineShed, to speak to the student population about the matter.

All students are welcome to attend the AGM - If you have opted out of SU membership you will not be able to vote. To opt back in visit the Student Admin desk in the main building and tell the University you wish to opt back in. (You will not be able to do this on Monday)
