Tonight, Wednesday 22 December, is the final showing of a Cathedral Illuminated: The Manger, the illumination spectacular at the Bishop's Palace and Lichfield Cathedral.
We've had a great time over the last six days providing all of the visitors with hot drinks, and tasty festive snacks from our gazebo and, of course, the Shergar's Bar horsebox, and would like to thank everyone who has supported us so far.
See you all later, from 5.30pm to 9.15pm - it is going to be cold tonight, so wrap up warm and treat yourselves to a luxury hot chocolate, a cup of mulled wine, or a gin hot toddy to warm you up as you look at the fabulous festive illuminations - and enjoy!

We're back in the Cathedral Close this evening for the Sunday Cathedral Illuminated: The Manger event at Lichfield Cathedral.
Not only do we have the best hot drinks and festive snacks, but we also have the best view, so that you can eat and drink while enjoying the amazing Illuminations!

A misty day in Lichfield today and we're getting ready for this evening's Cathedral Illuminated event in the Cathedral Close.
We're serving food and drinks from 5.30pm to 9.15pm from our wonderful converted horsebox right next to the main viewing point - so why not enjoy a hot mulled wine and sausage roll while you enjoy the Illuminations - see you all later!

Another fabulous evening on Friday, the second day of the Cathedral Illuminated:The Manger event in the cathedral close!
Thanks so much to everyone who came to see us, we had a great time! Our mulled wine and hot gin toddy's went really well on a chilly and misty December evening and our mince pies were really popular too.
We'll be starting earlier today, Saturday 18 December - watch out for details later!

Wow! We had a fantastic first night at the Cathedral Illuminated event last night at Lichfield Cathedral!
We served lots of gin hot toddy's, mulled wines and luxury hot chocolates as well as dozens of mince pies, stollen bites and chocolate cookies!
We're back this evening, Friday 17 Decemebr, from 5.30 to 9.30pm, with a stall just inside the ticket barrier on Dam Street / Cathedral Close, and then our delightful Shergar's bar horsebox just before the entrance gates for the main show at the West Front of the cathedral.
Call in to Shergar's, say hi and let us serve you to some delicious treats and drinks!

IMPORTANT UPDATE EFFECTIVE THURSDAY 16 DECEMBER

We have been watching the news as it develops and have implemented a plan to move the event OUTSIDE ONLY to make it as safe and enjoyable as possible for everyone.

This event is not cancelled and still very much the spectacular light and sound show that you have come to expect. Visitors will be able to see the Christmas Tree Festival and Crib Scene in their own time up to and after Christmas as part of a free daytime visit to the Cathedral.

Ticket holders have been emailed directly with more details and the website has been updated with the relevant information.

The Cathedral Illuminated: The Manger event is on from Thursday 16 December to Wednesday 22 December with illuminations taking place from 5.30pm to 9.15pm - with drinks available from Shergar's Bar horsebox and gazebo on daily - and you can take our drinks (with lids!) inside the cathedral too!
