Come down for our “hit us with your best shot” fundraiser day. To help raise funds towards our great friend Marks funeral, who sadly passed unexpectedly on Sunday 💔

Anyone that drank with Mark will know his signature drink was a Fosters “ not too much head” 😂 so with that said any Fosters purchased on the day, half will go towards his funeral.

Mark was a caring and loving man but also full of humour and banter, better than any other. Ask any of the staff at Love Fish they have all felt the force of Marks “banter” however, if he didn’t dig you out or “hit you with his best shot” in his words “then your just not my people” his love language to us was, jokes, ripping us a new one and ending it with his unforgettable laugh, you just couldn’t be angry for too long 😂 he loved a sing song and always complained “turn the music up outside” 😂 much to our neighbours disgust, sorry about that. 💔

So come down to Love Fish on the 6th of August from 5pm where all staff will be dressed to impress and you guys will get to do Marks dirty work and “hit us with your best shot” full of colour, full of laughter and just full of support for his funeral either in cash donations, that will be hand delivered by Zara to his family or to his Go fund me page. (Which can be found in our previous post)
There will be laughter, their will be dancing and their will be nothing but love for a man that loved life!

* However be forewarned, as much as Mark could give the banter he could take it and loved it, so please don’t come dressed in your best outfits as you will receive a colourful comeback 😂 white T-shirts and sunglasses

To all our customers and the community of leysdown, as you are all aware we sadly lost one of the greats, that is Mark. We are all working together to raise funds for his funeral, please see the link below for his go fund me. Let’s support his family at this difficult time and take the financial burden off them as much as we can.

Also For anyone wishing to to donate pet supplies for his little princess Coco please feel free to drop them off to Love Fish and we will pass them on to the amazing people who have taken her in. 🩷

Please keep the 6th of August free as we will be organising an amazing colour run in dedication to mark! Details to follow.
All donations will be passed on to his amazing family who have confirmed that will be attending to join the community that loved him. Bring your most colourful outfits, highest energy and amazing memories of Mark. ❤️🩷💙

With a heavy heart and great sadness Love Fish have not only lost one of our most loved customers but a true friend.

He made everyone he talked to feel important, with his kindness and acceptance for each and every person that had the honour of meeting him.

His love for life and unforgettable laugh was infectious and will be missed greatly.
He has made lasting memories with each and every staff member who will cherish them for the rest of their lives. We thank you for those Mark 💙

We send our deepest sympathies to his children who he constantly spoke so highly of and with great pride.

Coco will always be welcome and taken care of with her high chair, bed, favourite little treats and walks along the beach, we promise to continue treating her like the little princess you did 🩷

You will be missed by all of us not just as a customer but as a true FRIEND to all of us, heaven truely has taken a diamond.

Rest in peace Mark you really were 1 in a million 💔
