The Stag is located on the site of the oldest pub in Leyland which was called The Stag.

The pub is ideally located near the old Leyland cross (410-1066AD) in the oldest part of Leyland. The Stag is the only Freehouse Pub in the old town of Leyland, near Preston. Decorated in a modern shabby chic style, this strictly no swearing venue offers a relaxed and safe environment complemented by friendly and smartly dressed staff, creating a welcoming atmosphere.Food is served from midday until 8pm every day, with the open plan kitchen visible from the dining areas being complemented by a choice of 6 Cask Ales, 5 Continental Lagers, Wines and Coffees. Bookings are advisable at weekends Plenty of free parking is available on the Tesco car park only seconds away from us.
