Another band added to the bill:

Leeds four-piece The See No Evils have made a name for themselves in the Neo-Psychedelia and the Garage rock, Indie and Mod scenes. With influences from 1960s garage to today, they have a modern take on the sixties sounds that inspire them. They have won over fans and audiences from all over the UK and Europe.

In 2016 they released a handful of (now much sought after and sold out) 7” singles and an EP before the release of their much-acclaimed debut album ‘Inner Voices’ in 2016 on Heavy Soul Records. This was quickly sold out to great acclaim from illustrious magazines.

They returned in 2019 with their follow-up ‘Out of the Shadows’. The unmistakable sound of The See No Evils was still in place, but they added maturity and depth to the tracks, developing their sound from the garage rock’n’roll they’re known for. The album expanded their sonic template and drew influences from the jangly guitar sounds of 80’s indie. The album was well received and allowed them to tour Europe.
Over the years they’ve supported the likes of The Sonics, The Pretty Things, King Khan and Night Beats to name a few. They have also headlined three European tours to great acclaim and have headlined and played various festivals. Listen to what some people have said about us as we write our third album.
“A seriously fantastic slab of power-pop/maximum rock'n'roll. It's got a garage rock feel to it that slurps up the 70's and early 80's attitude but yet makes it work brilliantly today”
– Jumbo Records

“Simply too good to ignore”
– Ice Cream Man Blog

“The Shindigverse – and beyond – is theirs for the taking”
– Shindig Magazine

"C86 meets Bubblegum Pop"
- Hugh Dellar

“Pounding garage jangle pop… it would easily sit on a later Pebbles comp without seeming out of time”
- Phil Istine

Final (for now) band announcement, last but most definitely not least!
My current favourites on the scene!
A lovely bunch of people (as are the amazing bands we have at a bargain price of £25 adv)

The Crystal Teardrop released their debut album ‘The Crystal Teardrop… Is Forming’ on Rise Above Records on 2 May 2025. Performing to capacity crowds in London, Paris, Valencia and Liege, the band generated a high level of anticipation and media interest before the release of their all-analogue album produced by the legendary Liam Watson (Elephant, The White Stripes) which, full of the vibrant energy and musical experimentation that has become the band’s trademark, received excellent reviews from around the globe and built on their growing reputation for captivating high-energy live performances.

Who are The Crystal Teardrop?

Inspired by a mutual passion for the sights, sounds and creative experimentation of the late 1960s, the band’s music demonstrates an innate affection for classic artists such as The Beatles and The Kinks alongside West Coast favourites including The Great Society, Love and The Byrds and Paisley Underground favourites The Bangles and The Pandoras as well as contemporary bands like The Lemon Twigs and Temples.

The five-piece, based in the Midlands UK, features Alexandra Rose and Stuart Gray who both regularly DJ vinyl collections sourced from across the globe and host club nights including London’s Reverberation, Liverpool’s Compact Pussycat Club and Leicester’s Biff Bang Pow; Leon Jones whose previous kaleidoscopic exploits with Alfa 9 add an extra dimension to the band dynamic; performance artist and magician Ed Quigley and multi-instrumentalist Huw Woodward.

Band members: Alexandra Rose (guitar, mandola, vocals) | Leon Jones (lead guitar, electric sitar) | Stuart Gray (organ) | Ed Quigley (bass, vocals) | Huw Woodward (drums)

Line up announcement number four!

Founded by Mike & Elsa Whittaker, the band have been playing together since 2017. Hailing from Stratford-upon-Avon, they have so far released four studio albums on Dirty Water Records (UK), Dangerhouse Skylab (FR), Beluga Records (SE) + Bickerton Records (SP). The band now have a brand new rhythm section (Nathan Sandford on drums and Dan Rowe on bass) and added keys player (Hayden O’Dell) which give a whole new dimension to their sound. Their latest album, "Fade In" showcases the band’s signature blend of 60s-inspired garage rock, jangly indie pop, and post-punk.

They have played around Europe and the UK over the years but it will be their first time in Leicester and they are very much looking forward to playing at Dandelion Daze!
