1 YEAR SINCE WE GOT THE KEYS 🔑

Woah, what a year it’s been.

We picked up the keys at the end of August 2025 and jumped straight into renovations, opening our doors in November 2025 with fingers firmly crossed.

Taking on a pub tucked away in a quiet spot is always a leap of faith, and honestly, your support this year has blown us away. Whether you’re just around the corner or make the trip to visit us, thank you.

We’re immensely proud of what this space has become. Inside, we’ve built a cosy, welcoming country pub that feels like home.

It’s been a big twelve months. We upgraded the beer garden to make the most of some of the best views in Leeds, planted our own allotment and pumpkin patch, brought camping back, and revived the much loved Chicken Run game.

We put a big screen on the terrace for the World Cup (it’s coming back for the Euros too), opened our brand new play area, and gave the whole plot around the pub a proper tidy up. Even adding a football pitch and wildlife pond.

We’re incredibly proud of how far we’ve come and there’s still so much more to come…🍻

We’re so excited to be hosting our own Pumpkin Patch 🍂

Grown from seed by Eddie in the greenhouse at our pumpkins are now here at The New Inn getting ready for our very first pumpkin patch…

New for 2026, you’ll be able to pick your own pumpkin amongst the hay bales, get your autumn photos at our pumpkin arch and hop on the tractor for a proper autumn afternoon out!

• Thursday 29th and Friday 30th October
• Two hour slots from 12pm, event closes at 6pm
• Tickets are £10: a pumpkin to take home, and unlimited hot drinks and cordials
• Or £4: entry only (no pumpkin), plus unlimited hot drinks and cordials
• Bar open throughout, booking recommended if you’re planning to eat with us
• Booking is essential, there’s no admittance on the day

The gardens in full bloom & looking stunning 🍃

We wanted to say a huge thank you to one of Scott’s best friends, Eddie, who has helped bring so much of what you see today in the garden to life.

He’s built all of our planters, designed our flower beds, hand-grown the pumpkins, cut out and maintained the football pitch, built an allotment and even had the idea for our wildlife lake… and he’s just getting started.

A year ago, we looked at these plans, and it’s thanks to Eddie that they’ve all come to life.

OUR CHEF SPECIALS FOR THE NEXT TWO WEEKS 👨‍🍳

A few new dishes have landed on the specials board.

Swordfish & chorizo skewers served on warm flatbread with harissa mayo, salad & citrus cream sauce.

Medallions of pork tenderloin, pan seared and smothered in a creamy blue Stilton sauce, served with garlic & herb sautéed potatoes and tenderstem broccoli.

And for dessert, raspberry & hibiscus gin crème brûlée with a crisp cinnamon sugar top & shortbread.
